2004'Training & Symposium
1. February 24th , a symposium with the aim to seeking the opinions of the enforcement of the newly re-vised Guangdong Industrial Injury Regulations was held at GDHRMA conference room, hosted by drafsmen of Guangdong Industrial Injury Regulations.Among them were Sun Tonghua(Director of the Department of Medi-cal Insurance of DLSSGP) , Su Hai(Director of the Department of Legislation of DLSSGP) , Wang Lisha(Deputy Director of Information Center of DLSSGP) and Zhang Yulong, Luo Yongqin(labour law experts of the Cousulting Department of GDHRMA). More than 30 people from the enterprises around Guangdong attended the symposium.
2. February 26th , co-sponsored with Guangzhou Youth Daily and 51job.com Corporation, a symposium the Analysis of the Trend of Employment Compensation & Benefits and the Design of the Compensation System 2004 was given at Nanguo Garden club office with the 180 participants comprising Top Executives , HRDs and Compensation & Benefits Managers from multinational corporations and prestigious enterprises.
3. March 3th, sponsored Strategic Human Resource Management Advanced Study Course for China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd.(CSG). Zhou Jitai(Deputy General Manager of CSG, Wang Liangyou, Wang Zhensheng(Director and Vice Director of Personnel Department of CSG respectively)and 30 middle and top level executives from the Department of Human Resource of CSG and its subsidiaries in Guangzhou attended the course. Speakers were professor Peng Jianfengof Renmin University of China and Wang Huiqi, originator of Motile Management.
4. March 5th , co-sponsored by International Labour Organization Beijin Area Office and PDA Network ,the lecture, WTO and China Labour and Social Security Management—International Labour Standards and Corporate Social Responsibility, was held at Guangkong Hostel. Wang Jiyuan, Deputy Director, International Labour Orga-nization Beijin Area Office, was invited to attend and Su Qingqi, Vice Director, DLSSGP made the speech. Exec-utives with ranks of Vice Director or above of DLSSGP and its direct subsidiaries, the whole body of personnel concerned, in total number of 94, attended the lecture.
5. March 25th , according to the notice of DLSSGP, GDHRMA organized the members of the Council to sub-mit research applications on labour and security. Among the 10-odd of the received applications , 4 of them was recommended to DLSSGP, namely: the Research on Employment in Economic Transformation Period of Guang-dong , the Research on the Qualification Characteristics of the Middle-level Executive(Manager) , the Research on the Identification Technique of Qualified-personnel in Modern Enterprises, the Research on How Human Re-source Personnel Adapt to New Challenges for the Labour Security Management — the Patterns of a Qualified Human Resource Manager and its Ability Built-up.
6. April 9th , cooperated with the Guangzhou Medical Insurance Service Administration Center(GMISA) , GDHRMA launched Motile Management and Innovative Management Concept Course for top executives of hospi-tals. Among the 70 attendees, over 40 of attendees were Vice Presidents, Secretaries, top Executives from both Guangdong Provincial-level hospitals and Guangzhou City hospitals such as Zhujian Hospital,177 Hospital , Top Executives from China Everbright Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, which are the three main Medical Insurance Card issuing banks; the others from GMISA. The specially invited lecturers included Zhang Binyun, General manager, Fudan University Hospital Administration Company and In-vestment Consultants from H&J Vangurad.
7. May 29th, the first free lecture on policy of Human Resource and Labour Security(Topic : the Use and the Guard against Risk of the Latest Contract Text) was held at the conference room of China National Tobacco (Guangdong)Corporation. Nearly 300 Human Resource Management personnel from the enterprises around Zhu-jiang Delta Area attended the lecture. The speakers were Lin Jingqing , Vice Director, Department of Labour and Wages of DLSSGP and full-time Consultants from GDHRMA.
8. June 10th, in Dongguan , Mo Haiming, Director, Dongguan Labour Bureau (DLB)hosted the lecture In-ternational Labour Standards and Corporate Social Responsibility. Over 130 people attended the lecture, among them were members of Communist Party Leadership Group ,middle-level executives of DLB, staff members of Dongguan Municipal Labor Supervision Team and Labor Disputes Arbitration Division, leaders of Supervision and Investigation Offices and Directors of all sub-bureaus of DLB . GDHRMA invited professor Lin Yanling , China Institute of Industrial Relations , He Junxiong, full-time Trainer, Hong Kong CSCC and Commercial Director of Pentland Group as speakers.
9. June 26th, the second free lecture on policy of Human Resource and Labour Security with the topic of the Interpretation of Guangdong Province Industrial Injury Regulations and Corresponding Action Plans for Enterpris-es was held in Guangdong Province Labor Market at Commercial Complex, Guangzhou Tianhe Railway East Sta-tion.The speech was presented by Chen Jiancheng, Vice Director , Department of Medical Insurance of DLSSGP.
10. June 29th, hosted by Kingdee Software( China ) Company Ltd. ,Guangzhou Branch jointly held by GDHRMA, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Mercer HR Consulting and Guangzhou Daily Newspaper HR Elite Club, the first session of China Strategic Human Resource Management Solutions Summit Guangzhou, was held in Guangzhou Asia International Hotel. Mr. Xiao zhixing, PH.D/Professor at CEIBS, and Richard Wen ,Chief HR Consultant, Mercer HR Consulting( Guangzhou ) attended the summit as experts.
11. July 15th, in order to explore the service mode for VIP member, GDHRMA invited Honorary President Lin Wenquan,Council Member Xu Feng to lead a personalized investigation and survey of CITIC Group ' s hu-man resource conditions in South China.
12. July 31st , the third free lecture on policy of Human Resource and Labour Security(Topic: the Latest Labour Dispute Case Study) was given on the third floor at the Commercial Complex, Guangzhou Tianhe Railway East Station. Ying Yinjie,Arbitrator from DLSSGP presented the lecture.
13. August 18th-20th,under the support of Huaiji County Committee of Communist Party of China, Huaiji County People ' s Government,and Huaiji County Bureau of Labour and Social Security, the Compensation Dis-tribution Design Plan Symposium was held in Huaiji. More than 100 Human Resource directors, Personnel De-partment managers, Compensation & Benefits directors and commissioners and cadres of Trade Unions participat-ed in the Symposium. the Symposium invited Chen Ming, Department of Labour and Wages of DLSSGP, He Shi-cai, Human Resource Manager, Guangzhou Metro Company and Lu Xuebin, General Manager, China HR.com (Guangzhou)Corporation as speakers.
14. August 26th, approved by DLSSGP, GDHRMA determined the compilation of A Comprehensive Policies and Regulayions of Old-age Insurance(hereinafter“Comprehensive”) with Old-age Insurance Department of DLSSGP and sought to deliver the comprehensive to publish in the first half year of 2004. The Comprehensive will cover the major Old-age Insurance policies and regulations from the year of the founding of PR.China to 2003 and the electronic version of it will be issued at the same time.
15. August 26th, organized the training class of China Labour Laws&Regulations and Industrial Injury Insur-ance for Sinotrans( Guangdong ) Company Ltd,.
16. August 28th , the fourth free lecture on policy of Human Resource and Labour Security(Topic: the State ' s Regulation on Minimum Wage Payment and Settlement of Wage Dispute) was held at Commercial Complex, Guangzhou Tianhe Railway East Station.
17. September 23th, in Zhongshan, Yu Xipeng, Vice Director, Zhongshan Labour Bureau (ZLB)hosted the lecture: International Labour Standards and Corporate Social Responsibility. Among the 110-odd attendees were members of Communist Party Leadership Group, middle-level Executives of ZLB, staff members of Zhongshan Municipal Labor Supervision Team and Labor Disputes Arbitration Division, leaders of Supervision and Investi-gation Offices and directors of all sub-Bureaus of ZLB. The lecture invited Professor Zhang Feng, Assistant Re-search Fellow of International Labour and Information Research Institute, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, PRC., Mara, Director of BSR Hong Kong Office. He Junxiong, full-time Trainer, Hong Kong CSCC, and Com-mercial Director of Pentland Group as speakers.
18. September 25th, co-sponsored by GDHRMA, Guamgdong Labor Market and Guangzhou Reach Human Resource Service Co.(GRHRS), Ltd. ,the fifth free lecture on policy of Human Resource and Labour Security—National Vocation Qualification and HR Career Planning was held on the fourth floor at Zhongtai Modern City ,Guangzhou Tianhe Railway East Station. The speakers were Zhou Guotian, Director, Guangdong Occupational Skill Test Instruction Center , Zhou Liangwen, Human Resource Director, Guangdong Nortel ( Nortel Networks, one of the world's Top-500s ). Ran Bin, Senior HR Consultant of CB Handsun Consulting Co., Ltd.,and Yang Xihong, General Manager, GRHRS.
19. September 25th-27th , co-hosted by DLSSGP and Cultural and Education Section ,British Consulate-General Guangzhou , jointly-held by PDA Network, the first session of Corporate Social Responsibility Training Class was held in Guangzhou Summer Palace Hotel. Among the 30-odd participants , some of them were from Policy Research Office ,Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, Guangdong Foreign Trade Bureau, DLSSGP, Guangdong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions , Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences, Guangdong University of Business Studies and the others from Zhujiang Delta Area who are engaged in Labor and Social Secutity or Trade Union activities. The Training Class specially invited Miss Masani, Originator of Hong Kong Gongyi Copmany, Zhang Feng, Assistant Research Fellow of International Labour and Information Research Institute, Ministry of Labour and Social Security,PRC., He Junxiong, full-time Trainer, Hong Kong CSCC, and Commercial Director of Pentland Group as speakers.
20. October, 15th, upon the approval of GDHRMA, sorted out and compiled the Theory and Practice of Guangdong Labor Security Supervision-An Anthology of Treatises and Documentation in Honor of the 15th An-niversary of Labor Security Supervision (hereinafter “Anthology”). Shi xiuyin, Assistant Research Fellow, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS), acting as the Editor and Proofreader, wrote the preface, reviewed all the treatises and commented on each case. The Anthology is programmed to publish at the beginning of the next year.

22. November 3rd-5th, held Labour Laws and Regulations Training Class for Guangzhou Highway Adminis-tration Bureau.
23. December 8th, held Employee Disciplinary Offence Management and Improvement of Rules and Regula-tions Training Class at Wuzi Mansion Building on Guangzhou Beijiaochang Road . Yu Chuntao, Vice Director, De-partment of Labour Secutity Supervision , DLSSGP.
